As the current American governments are corrupt and tyrannically oppressive of the rights of innocent people should a group of American citizens decide to organize, declaring themselves independent of the current American governments, as to exercise their right to form a new government that has their best interests at heart would you protect them and their right to do so? The Supreme Court has proven they do not have our best interests at heart as the constitution of the U.S.A. is not accurately interpreted by the Supreme Court for laws that effect our rights are often and abundantly legislated without our consent. Now let me be perfectly clear I’m hardly against the constitution our forefathers left behind. However, the Supreme Court being created by our forefathers is not an accurate representation of reality and history, our forefathers couldn’t have been responsible for creating the Supreme Court of today as our governments (state and federal) have changed so greatly sense the establishment of them. Furthermore the Supreme Court has proven they will stand idly by doing nothing while the rights of the innocent are violated. I seriously doubt our forefathers implemented government for such purposes, it is my understanding that their intentions were quite the opposite.
That being said is one being against the constitution or the Supreme Court anti-American? Our forefathers intended this to be the land of the free remember? Free men may be governed by whatever government they organize and consent to be governed by be it communistic, capitalistic, or anarchistic. As governments get their power from the consent of the governed should a government compel innocent men to obey it’s laws said men are having their rights violated and cannot claim to live freely. In other words it is my understanding that our forefathers wanted us to live in a land where men are free to be governed how they consent to be governed, by governments they’ve organized be it under the constitution our forefathers wrote or not.
The current governments are doing exactly what our forefathers feared and warned us about in the Declaration of Independence, it is absolutely shameful the state of our current country, we are no longer the land of the free or the home of the brave. The time has come once more for use to take things into our own hands as the current governments have proven they do not have our best interests at heart, they care only to reduce us into absolute despotism by legislating laws that effect our rights without our consent.
I strongly recommend reading “Out of the Ashes” by William W. Johnstone. He was a combat veteran that believed the current American governments are out of control and in need of being held accountable. ‘Tis a work of fiction granted but the sentiments of the author ring true.
“But,” the president stared hard at his wife of fifty years—more than his wife: his friend, his confidante. “Is it really the law of the land? Of the people, for the people? Is it constitutional?”
“The supreme court says it is.”
“Five to four,” President Fayers grunted. “Not exactly an overwhelming majority.” He walked to the window and looked out at the night. “I cannot forget the news film of that fellow down in South Carolina. That man never had so much as a traffic ticket in his whole life. And agents—federal agents—employed by the very government his taxes help support, shot him stone damned dead! And for what? Because he wanted to keep a. 38 pistol in his house. Ah, hell!” The president waved his disgust.” Excerpt From Out of the Ashes by William W. Johnstone
And so I reiterate my question, as a veteran or active member of the military, when innocent men draw the line in the sand to take their freedom back will you stand next to them? Will you do everything in your power to protect free innocent men who are solely guilty of exercising their God given rights? Or will you follow the orders to cross their line? To take their life for refusing to obey the laws of a corrupt tyrannically oppressive regime?
“This country, with its institutions, belongs to the people who inhabit it. Whenever they shall grow weary of the existing government, they can exercise their Constitutional right of amending it, or their revolutionary right to dismember or overthrow it.”
Abe Lincoln
