The current governments tyrannically oppress our right to travel by deeming it illegal immigration. To grasp the folly of illegal immigration, it's crucial to understand key concepts, including the nature of government and our God-given rights as sovereigns:
1. Government is a term for a group of individuals consenting to be governed by a specific constitution, often one they create.
2. Governments derive power from the consent of the governed.
3. No government may compel free innocent people to obey legislations, violating their right to liberty.
4. Governments can't affect our life, liberty, or pursuit of happiness without our consent unless we harm others, and we have the right to form new governments.
Should we violate the rights of the innocent we may be held accountable. We do not need to violate the rights of innocent people to serve justice to those who are accountable for violating the rights of the innocent.
5. We retain the right to remain sovereign, travel, and form new governments for mutual benefit.
As equals with unalienable rights, no group under a constitution can infringe on our right to travel. Constraining travel unless we pay is immoral tyranny. No group can oppress another's right to travel or punish innocents for the actions of a few.
Questions for those advocating walls:
1. Is claiming people are here illegally a tyrannical oppression?
2. Is taking away their right to form a government tyrannical?
3. Why assume authority to affect their life, liberty, and pursuit of happiness without consent?
Building walled cities is permissible, but not by illegalizing means to life. Men may build walled cities and regulate who is allowed within, however they may not compel people to stay within their walls by outlawing the utilization of the means to life. Nor may they prevent others from building their cities utilizing their fair share of the planets natural resources. We can extend help to those in need, refusing to stand idle in the face of oppression. Together, we are strong.
