Propaganda wields immense peril in the hands of contemporary governments, both state and federal. Despite the internet's potential, the global proletariat remains ensnared. Americans, too, struggle to grasp fundamental ideals like equality, liberty, and justice, erroneously believing democracy justifies violating minority rights with impunity.
The tyrannical tenets ingrained in our government's capitalist propaganda persist, endorsed by the willingly ignorant. The proletariat, armed with instant connectivity, surprisingly fails to unite against government corruption, allowing politicians to infringe on innocent lives without consent. But why? When the proletariat have tools at their disposal that connect them at the touch of their finger it is a wonder why we have not formed posses in order to hold the corruption of our government’s representatives accountable. Accountable for actions like politicians legislating laws that effect the rights of the innocent without their consent. Actions like paying men with guns via compulsory taxation to force the innocent into obeying laws that reduce them into absolute despotism.
The internet, a repository of global knowledge, is squandered and tainted by misinformation. The internet is not only wasted on the current generations but allowed to propagate misinformation that only serves to delude truth, wisdom, and knowledge. Knowledge is power as they say and the proletariat have the world’s knowledge at our fingertips yet they remain powerless.
Despite holding the world's knowledge, the proletariat remains powerless. Why permit the perverting of such a valuable resource? Can we not reclaim the internet, undo misinformation, and foster unity through knowledge and truth? Together, we possess strength; it's not too late to reshape our digital landscape.
