If powerful weapons exist, enabling less than one percent of the population to effortlessly control the other 99%, is it not alarming that these weapons are exclusively in the hands of governments that may not have our best interests at heart? The right to bear arms loses its significance if the arms cannot defend us from tyranny. Governments wielding such formidable power instill fear, inhibiting our ability to protect our rights. Are we truly protected when fear hinders our pursuit of self-interest? Are we genuinely secure if we lack the means to take protection into our own hands? I place more trust in free, innocent individuals with weapons of mass destruction than in any corrupt, tyrannical regime.
Various methods strip away our rights, and historical approaches have become antiquated, replaced by modern strategies. Our minds are not dominated by violent force but by indoctrination and propaganda. The lack of transparency in government actions leaves us ignorant about the evils used to compel our obedience. The government enjoys more privacy than its citizens.
Our forefathers envisioned a government significantly different from what we endure today, emphasizing the God-given rights to liberty and justice for all. They crafted safeguards to ensure future generations could defend themselves from tyranny. However, we dishonor their sacrifices by allowing the government excessive power over us, manipulated by fear-inducing propaganda.
Division through exploitation of our unique qualities—race, culture, heritage, religion, and political beliefs—has become a tool in a divide-and-conquer agenda. Together, as a united force, we can honor the sacrifices of righteous men throughout history. As patriots of a free country, we can hold those in power accountable for their exploitations, corruptions, and tyrannies.
